YOU TOO HAVE ACCESS TO GOD

"Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom." (Mark 15:38, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

When Jesus was crucified and died on the cross of Calvary the scripture informs us the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom. The veil was a canvas like, heavy fabric, that separated the two most important rooms in both the temple and the tabernacle. Prior to Jesus' death only certain people at certain times had access to these rooms that housed the ark of the covenant. The ark was a symbol of God's presence and power. When the veil was torn on the day of Jesus' sacrifice, it was a sign that everyone had access to God at all times. All people at any time could now come before God without distinction.

What a blessing. What a blessed thing to know. You and I can come before the presence of our Heavenly Father, the creator, the sustainer of our lives, at any time. The veil has been torn. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; . . ." we can all come before the presence of God without going through a preacher, priest or prophet.

1. Isn’t it wonderful to know that you can come into the presence of God for yourself and at any and all times?

2. Do you take advantage of the great privilege to enter into the thrown room of the King and share with Him?

3. Have you ever just thanked God for the sacrifice of Jesus that gives us and gave us access to God?

Do not neglect to take advantage of your right and your privilege to spend time with God. Jesus died for you to have that right. Make sure you go to God today. Make it a priority to spend time in His presence daily. No one can stop you. There are no borders, no petitions and no veils. There is no segregation, discrimination or distinction. The veil has been torn, now, YOU TOO HAVE ACCESS TO GOD!
