WHAT YOU DO WILL PROSPER

"He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper." (Psalm 1:3, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

David, the King of Israel, is attributed to writing this beautiful Psalm expressing the blessings of a man or woman who walks with God and godly people. One of the things David declares over those who do so is that, "whatever he (she) does will prosper."

Notice what David does not say. David does not say, "whatever he (she) thinks will prosper." He does not say, "Whatever he (she) desires, dreams about or hope for will prosper." David is clear. The prosperity of those who walk with God is based on what that man or woman does. As I like to say, "If you don't do anything, you wont get anything."

Too many of us want prosperity without personal activity. Prosperity requires sacrifice of time, effort and sometimes sowing and investing financial seeds for a harvest. If you truly want to be prosperous, you must put your hand, head and heart into the work and do something. You must be willing to go through the strain and the stress to see your dreams come true. You must be willing to sacrifice today for tomorrow's blessings.

1. What are you doing to ensure your success?

2. What goals have you set and are acting on to see your dreams become reality?

3. What effort are you putting forth to manifest your desires?

Your prosperity is assured to you as a promise from God as you walk with Him, keeping yourself in the company of like-minded righteous individuals, meditating daily on God's word, and working toward the success you want. It will not happen on its own. You must meet the conditions for prosperity, remembering, only WHAT YOU DO WILL PROSPER!
