WHAT GOD IS REVEALING TO YOU

"Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 16:17, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

After Jesus ask the disciples those two most important questions, “Who do men say that I, am?” and “Who do you say that I am?” Peter's answer to the question was, “You are the Christ, the son of the Living God.” Jesus in turn responded to Peter by saying, “ . . . flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” Jesus lets us know in this statement that there are some things that are only known by revelation.

Too often we forget the word and the promises of God focusing on what we see, hear and feel in the natural. The result is that we lose faith and hope focusing on the situations and circumstances of life.

1. What are some of the revelations God has given you?

2. List the revelations God has given to you about your relationships, significant other, marriage, singleness, your destiny and your ministry assignment.

3. What is God revealing to you RIGHT NOW? What is God saying in your “NOW” experience?

4. Don’t let the enemy robe you of your promise. Don’t allow yourself to focus on the present situation. Don’t let your circumstances speak louder than God’s word. Rather, let your spirit always be in tuned to WHAT GOD IS REVEALING TO YOU!
