"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, . . ." (Ephesians 5:2, NKJV)
In this verse, Paul tells us that we all must walk or live our lives in love. Our lives should be characterized by the love that Christ demonstrated to the world when He gave His life on the cross of Calvary.
We must all endeavor to walk in love. Loving others is not always easy. I have said it many times, "some people are hard to love." Yet, that the world would know love, we must live our lives as proof that real love does exist through Jesus the Christ. We must love as Jesus loved. We must forgive as Jesus forgives. We must show mercy, sacrifice, patience and compassion as Jesus does.
Let us endeavor to love as Jesus loves. It is not always easy. But with the Holy Spirit in us, leading us, empowering us, we can and we will WALK IN LOVE.
