THE LORD IS . . .

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want . . . The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear . . . The Lord is King forever and ever; . . . (Psalm 23:1; Psalm 27:1; Psalm 10:16, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

In the Bible there is stated a number of times the statement, “The Lord is.” We all know Psalm 23, or what’s called “the shepherd’s Psalm, where David pens from his experience, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want . . .” And then there is one of my favorites Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? . . .” And in these times, we must not ever forget Psalm 10:16 which lets us know who is really in charge, ruling and reigning in every situation, “The Lord is King forever and ever; . . .”

1. Have you really taken time to sit and think of all God is to and for you?

2. Have you ever thought about what your life would be like if God had NOT been what He is in your life?

3. If you are going through some struggle right not, do you know that God, not only was, but GOD IS everything you need when you need Him?

4. Why don’t you take some time one day to just sit and write down all that God is and has been in your life? I promise you, the list would be extensive.

We can rejoice in the Lord today no matter what we are going through because we know whatever we need THE LORD IS.
