"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-6 NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
In yesterday's POINTS 2 PONDER I shared with you, from Ephesians 1:20-21, that Jesus is "ABOVE IT ALL." All of our problems, issues, circumstances and situations, Jesus has already subdued, defeated and put under His feet. He is "ABOVE IT ALL."
In today's scripture, we learn that we who are in Christ Jesus are seated "together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Well, if He is "ABOVE IT ALL," and God has raised us up and seated us "together in heavenly places in Him,” then, we too must already be "above" all our problems, issues, circumstances and situations.
1. My God, what a blessing it is to know that God has so loved us that he raised us up to be with His Son in heavenly places even while we walk on this earth?
2. Do you know that in Christ Jesus you are really living in heaven? You are merely walking on earth.
3. Do you know that in Jesus you are raised above every problem, circumstance and situation that would come against you?
Rejoice today. Praise God that He has so favored you, that He has raised you above all your enemies and your problems, as you are "IN" Christ Jesus. Hold your head up, look up and walk up. You are above what's trying to hold you down. Yet it cannot hold you down, because you are, SITTING WITH HIM!
