"There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty." (Proverbs 11:24, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
Solomon in this proverb gives us a principle to prosperity and being blessed. He tells us that those who "scatters" or lets go of what they have by giving to others, will find increase from what they have given. Yet, those who refuse to give, withholding giving to others, will end up, not only not prospering, but even loosing what they have tried to hold on to.
The word "scatters" here carries with it the connotation of one who sows seed. Those who scatter or sow seed, will produce a harvest from their sowing. But those who hold on to the seed will not only not have a harvest, but even the seed they have will decay and go bad in their hands.
1. Are you a ‘scatterer?” Do you give to others when they are in need?
2. As another scripture teaches us,”whatever a man sows, that he will also reap,” (Galations 6:7).
3. Only when you release are you positioned to receive.
You must not hold back from sowing seed when it is sowing time. As you bless others, you will be blessed. Yet, if you try to hold on to what you have and not share it, you will eventually loose even that. Your prosperity depends on you willingness to give. Do not miss your harvest. SCATTER AND BE BLESSED!
