PONDER THIS!
The Bible is filled with the testimonies and examples of Biblical characters, both men and women, who either by force or by choice, lived their lives by faith in God. These individuals, be they put in situations where they HAD to have faith in order to make it, or CHOSE to have faith believing God for some promise or blessing, lived their lives dependently and/or expectantly upon God. We too are called to live by faith.
1. If someone were to ask you today, “What are you living by?” Would you declare, “I am living by faith!”
2. How have you made it through the difficult times of your past? Do you know and do you believe that the God the brought you is the God that will bring you? That’s faith!
3. To live by faith is to not be controlled, consumed or overly concerned with the negative circumstances happening around you, but to trust God to take care of you, no matter what the situation or circumstance.
We who are His children, are called to live our lives knowing that our Heavenly Father knows what is best for us and He cares about us. We are called to trust Him in spite of what things look like or threaten to be. This is where our victory lies. Therefore if anyone should see you smiling, praising and over all happy while they know you are going through, if they should ask you how you do it, just declare, I am LIVING BY FAITH!
