"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy." (Psalm 107:2, NKJV)
The church that I am blessed to be able to serve as Pastor, hears me say regularly, “If you are saved, tell somebody about it. Yet, do not just tell them that you are saved, tell them what you were saved from.” You see, every born again child of God has been saved not just for heaven, but from some circumstance or situation right here on earth. The word of God teaches us that it is the requirement of every person delivered by God, to tell someone else what God has saved you from. In this, someone else will know that whatever God brought you through, God can bring them through as well.
When a person is arrested in the U.S., the police are obligated to read that individual what is called their, Miranda Rights. If you have watched any police television program, you probably have heard the officer say, “You have the right to remain silent . . .” Well, if you have been delivered by God, if you have been saved from anything at all by God’s grace, you DO NOT have the right to remain silent. You must testify as to what God has done for you. Somebody needs to hear it. Like the psalmist says, LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD, SAY SO.
