“The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” (Psalm 34:10, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
David in this psalm wants to remind the followers of God of the importance and benefit of seeking the Lord. It is of great importance and even of necessity that we seek the Lord’s guidance, His will, His way and Him through His Word. David tells us that even the young lion, the symbol of strength, power and vitality, with all of his might, will still find himself at times wanting. But those who seek the Lord will never lack “any good thing.” God Himself will make a way for those who seek Him.
1. There are times when God does allow us to suffer a time of lack, need and want. Yet do you know that God allows these times to teach us and remind us of our need and dependance upon him?
2. Have you ever had a need, I mean a true need, and God stepped in right on time to fulfill that need?
3. Have you learned to trust and depend totally upon God for all your needs?
4. Do you know that God desires that you lack no good thing?
Let us always be mindful to seek the Lord. Seek His will for your life. Seek His way for living life. Seek His presence daily in your life. Remember, the strong and the mighty may suffer lack, but those who seek the Lord will LACK NOTHING GOOD!
