“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
The prophetic word of Isaiah to the Children of Israel came at a low time in their lives. They were and had been in captivity in Babylon and believed all hope was lost. God speaks a word through the prophet of what God will do in the near future for His people.
This is also God’s word for you today. Check the points!
1. “Do not remember” — Do not focus on, to the point of despair and depression, the struggles of the past.
2. “Behold I will do” — Expect a move of God every day you awake.
3. “It shall spring forth” —What God is going to do for you will “spring up,” arising quickly for your good.
4. “I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” — The normal will become abnormal and the common will be seen as uncommon in your life.
IT WILL SPRING UP!
