“as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness .
. .” (II Peter 1:4, NKJV)
Peter tells us in this verse, “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain
to life and godliness.” Notice the message Peter is transmitting. His divine power
“has given us all things.” Jesus, when He died on the cross and was raised from
the dead secured for us, “all things” that we will ever need to live in this life. By
His divine power, mercy and grace, it “is” already yours.
1. Isn’t it wonderful to know that when you pray, you can pray in confidence
knowing everything you need and will need, God has already provided?
2. Do you find an assurance in your prayers knowing you do not have to beg or
plead for anything from God because everything you need is already yours?
3. Last week I shared with you from I John 5:14-15 that you can pray with
confidence when you are praying the will of God, knowing that He hears your
prayers and will give you what you ask.
When you pray, pray in confidence knowing everything you need and will need,
God has already provided. You merely have to ask for what is yours, and He will
give it. All the blessings of God are yours, because IT’S ALREADY BEEN
