IN GOD WE TRUST

"In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; . . ." (Psalm 31:1, KJV)

The Psalmist in this Psalm acknowledges that he has put and is putting his trust in God. He prays telling God that he is totally depending on God for his life and livelihood.

The question for each of us today is, in whom do we trust? Who are we depending on for our life and livelihood? The simple fact of the matter is, no one person, agency or government on earth can be all we need when we need. As much as family, friends, and even the church might want to help or bless us, only God is all we need, when we need. The Psalmist understood this, and therefore declared, "In thee, O lord, do I put my trust."

Be like the Psalmist and put your trust in God today. All your trust. God will bless you. He might chose to do it through others, but know that the blessings come from the Lord. Needs will arise and problems will come, but know and let both heaven and the world know, it is IN GOD WE TRUST.
