In God I Put My Trust

“In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid.” (Psalm 56:11, NKJV)

The Psalmist David in this Psalm expresses how he put his trust totally in God and God brought him through his most difficult moments. He wants us to know that those who put their trust in God will never be disappointed.

Too many times, we try to maneuver our way through life depending on our own weak, feeble and limited abilities. If you are like me, many times you found yourself in a mess simply because you did not seek God’s guidance prior to making a decision. Relying on myself I, in many cases, made a bad situation worse. Yet, I have learned and am still learning to live my life totally trusting and depending on God for all my decisions and blessings. We must know, He already knows what is best for us. Trusting God from the onset will save us much pain, pressure and heartache.

So let your testimony be that of David’s. Before you make any major decisions or give up when trouble comes your way, put your trust in God. Rely totally upon Him. And when people see you go through and come through victoriously, when they ask you how you made it, simply tell them, “IN GOD I PUT MY TRUST.”
