"Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the
womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a
prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4-5, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
The Word of God given here to the prophet Jeremiah was to give him both
direction and encouragement. God calls Jeremiah and tells him his purpose in life
and assures him of his ability to live out that purpose, "Before you were born I
sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
This Word of the Lord that was given to Jeremiah is exemplary of God's word to
and about you as well. You must know, it was God who formed you. Before you
were conceived, God knew you. But God did not merely allow you to be born,
God sanctified and ordained you for a purpose. Your birth was not an accident.
Neither is your life insignificant. You have been born and ordained to fulfill a God
given purpose.
1. Do you know that you are not here by accident but by purpose?
2. You are ordained by God. God's ordination of you is the power within to do
what God has purposed your life for.
3. Do you know you have within you everything you need to be both successful
and prosperous?
Always keep this word about your life before you. You were born for a purpose.
You are set apart to fulfill a divine mission. You were ordained to succeed. You are
HERE FOR A REASON!
