"But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” (Mark 4:38, NKJV)
One of the main tricks of the enemy is to tempt us to doubt the Lord. Satan wants us to doubt, first, that there is a God and Savior, and second, that He really sees and cares about our affairs. Doubt creates fear and fear leads us to panic. Panic will, in most cases, cause us to make unwise and unspiritual decisions that create even greater problems in our lives.
You need to know that no matter what you go through, or are going through, God both sees and He cares. Not only does He see, but as this verse of scripture indicates, He is on the boat and in the storm with you.
You will not be overcome by your storms. You will not sink and die from what is tossing you to and fro. Just call Him, trust in Him and watch Him work. Don't let the scare tactics of the enemy cause you to doubt the Lord's concern for you. Be sure and know that your heavenly Father both sees, and HE CARES.
