"For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister." (Hebrews 6:10, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
Some time ago a minister friend encouraged me with these words from this scripture. It came at a time when I really needed to be reminded that when God makes a promise He is faithful to His word.
We work, we serve, we labor and we love and many times we wonder if it is all worth it. Be it in the church, on our secular jobs or serving in the home, sometimes you may feel as if even God has forgotten you. But you must know that God will, by and by, make good on His promises.
1. Have you ever felt like God had forgotten or abandoned you?
2. Are there times when you wonder if all your labor, service and sacrifice to others is worth it?
3. Do you at times want to give up, just say, “forget it,” and look out for yourself only?
Encourage yourself and someone else with these words. Hold on to your faith. Continue to serve faithfully, and know with a certainty, that GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU!
