DON’T FORGET THE PROMISE

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Isaiah 43:2, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

What a precious promise God has made to all His children. We have the promise of knowing, it does not matter what the situation and regardless of the circumstance, God is with us and we will not be consumed.

What a precious promise. Yet, let me remind you of the whole promise. Notice the scripture says, “When you pass through . . .” When you pass through the waters, the rivers and the fire. God does not tell us He will prevent us from “going through” these difficult and devastating situations. He does assure us that He will bring us “through” every trial and test.

1. Are you going through some trial or difficult situation at present?

2. When was the last time you went through a trial that seemed to push you to your limits? Didn’t God bring you through that?

3. Is your faith and confidence so sure that you know that “when” you go through what you go through, God will keep you?

As you go “through” the various trials of life, do not get depressed or upset. You can praise God as you go through, because you know the promise God has made you. You may go through it, but you will also “come” out of it. Just DON’T FORGET THE PROMISE!
