“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go
and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, . . .” (John 15:16, NKJV)
Do you know that you have been chosen by God. You have been chosen to go
through what you are going through and will go through, that you might produce
fruit for God’s glory. Everybody could not handle what you are strong enough to
go through. They would give up. They would give in. They, rather than bearing
fruit, would wilt, wither and die. But God has chosen you and anointed you to bear
the burden, endure the hardship and be a blessing to someone else while you are
doing it.
Here is the beautiful part of your being chosen by God, He believes in you. God
actually believes in you. He chose you because He believes in your ability. He
believes in your character as an overcomer. He believes in your love for Him in
that you will not betray Him for the enemy. God believes in you.
Do not let the troubles deceive you. The trouble is not because God has abandoned
you. The trouble is allowed because God knows you can handle it. God has
already put in you everything you need to make it, survive and even thrive. After
it’s all over you will not only come out on top, you will bear fruit that will be a
blessing to others. You will overcome and the fruit will come forth, because you,
are CHOSEN BY GOD.
