"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." (Mark 11:24, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
Of all that Jesus taught, faith was one of His principal subjects. This verse is loaded with the potential for promotion and prosperity. Jesus tells His followers, “whatever you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” This is a powerful statement.
Notice Jesus does not tell us to “believe that you WILL receive . . .” Jesus is teaching us that our faith has to rise to the level of believing that we ALREADY HAVE RECEIVED, when we pray. Faith is not believing in what we WANT God to do. Faith believes that God HAS already done it.
1. When you pray do you believe that God has answered your request even before you see it?
2. Are you confident in God’s granting your request even before you rise from your prayer position?
3. Do you really believe that God has heard you and has granted every one of your requests?
4. Can you and do you rejoice and even thank God for granting your request even before you see it?
5. Jesus never tells us to pray in “hope” that are prayers are answered. He tells us to pray and BELIEVE THAT IT IS YOURS!
