“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5, NKJV)
This was the word of God to Joshua as he became the leader of Israel after the death of Moses. Joshua has been chosen to be the new leader and has the assignment of leading Israel into the Promised Land. God here encourages Joshua by assuring him that the same way He protected, defended and cared for Moses, He would do the same for him.
This is also the Word of God for you today. God wants you to know that He is and will always be your protector, defender, savior, miracle worker and provider. You can depend on and count on God to make a way for you as He made a way for Moses while in the wilderness. There is no respect of person with God. His promise to Moses and His promise to Joshua is His promise to you. You can be confident and sure that God will be to you, even in these times, just AS HE WAS WITH MOSES.
