PONDER THIS!
In this text, Peter makes a confession of faith that Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Upon his confession Jesus declares, “ . . . I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven . . .”
Keys are used for the purpose of locking and unlocking doors and starting and stopping systems. Jesus announces to all those who have faith that we have the keys to unlock locked doors and start stopped systems. We have the authority to unlock and start the systems of governmental, educational and economics to work in our favor. We, the people of faith, should be using the “keys” of the kingdom to open doors of health and healing, promotion and prosperity and deliverance and breakthrough. We simply have to use the keys.
1. I stated in my POINTS TO PONDER last week, GOD IS WAITING ON YOU! You have the power to bind and loose. You have the power to connect with blessings and release the negative. Now Jesus tells us we also have access to keys that will start and stop systems and open and lock doors.
2. The keys of the kingdom are items such as faith, wisdom, understanding, the fear of the Lord, Knowledge, and the Name of Jesus just to name a few.
3. Having the keys is one things but knowing when and how to use them brings success.
4. Jesus has given us the Keys of the kingdom to ensure our success. The question is, ARE YOU USING THE KEYS!
