“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth . . .” (Deuteronomy 8:18, NKJV)
PONDER THIS!
Yesterday I shared this verse with you, reminding you when you are blessed and prosperous you are not to forget God for it is He who brought you, is keeping you and will bless you to be a blessing. We are to “remember the Lord.” Today I would like to encourage you from this same verse to seek and pray for the “power to get wealth.”
Too many of us are letting life pass us by waiting for blessings and prosperity to fall from the sky. Every week people all over America line up at gas stations and grocery stores hoping to “get rich quick” from some lottery number. Yet, the word of God clearly tells us where our wealth comes from. It is God who gives us the “power to get wealth.”
1. Do you understand that God does not give us the wealth, rather it is God who gives us the power to get wealth?
2. The power to get wealth is within your grasp if you use your mind, heart, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and physical abilities.
3. What are you doing, right now, that is positioning you to get wealth?
Wealth and property is within you. You don’t have to sit and watch others become wealthy while you live “hand to mouth.” If you use what God has given you, you too can be wealthy in the thing God has ordained for you. Be confident and be assured God has given you THE POWER TO BECOME WEALTHY!
